2019 April 13 Saturday in Liberty Hill and Georgetown, Texas
61° and fog that turned into one heck of a wind and rain storm.
Grandson Tate had a football game scheduled four 11:00 in Round Rock. We got there about 20 minutes early.
As I was pulling into a parking spot, I bumped the car next to me. Actually, he may had backed into me as I was pulling in. Whichever, I was over the line into his spot.
.
I couldn’t see any damage to his car but I gave him my insurance information and phone number just in career. I also took these photos as proof.
By the time we exchanged information, the parking lot cleared out because the game was cancelled. Before we drive out of the parking lot the storm hit. There were gusts in excess of 40mph.
The first part of the drive home was a little white knuckles. However by the time we reached Leander it had stopped raining and the winds had let up some.
We purchased a Poppa Murphy pizza to take home and bake. I cut it in half, baked half and froze half.
The rain returned off and on throughout the day but the wind was pretty constant.
This photo above was taken at 5:45 in the afternoon. It is not black and white. The photo below was two hours later.
The wind is still rocking us as I write this at 11 p.m.
G’night and God bless.
