2018 July 17 Tuesday in Grimes

67° start that reached 90° but with only 41% humidity it felt much cooler than it has been lately.

While we were having coffee at the Fireside Cafe this morning, I received an email informing us that the worship bulletins were ready for pickup.

We went ahead to the Grimes Senior Center for games and lunch.

From there we drove to Union Park UMC for the bulletins.

From there we went to G&L Clothing and purchased a red coveralls.

I look pretty trim here don’t I? Okay, that is a photo from the catalog and not me. I will use this for Santa’s summer wear at Christmas in July.

IHOP (International House Of Pancakes) was celebrating 60 years in business by serving short stacks for 60¢. So we went for supper. My tip was larger than the bill.

On the way home, we stopped at Hobby Lobby and purchased a red baseball cap, two pom poms, and some fabric glue.
