2018 September 07 Friday in Grimes Iowa
59° and rain again. Yesterday, since it was still raining, I didn’t empty the gauge. It had one inch yesterday morning.
An inch and a half this morning.
And almost 1 3/4 inches at four o’clock this afternoon.
Seriously we have mushrooms growing in the yard.
That didn’t stop us from going to the cafe for coffee with friends this morning. Jean was the first to arrive after us. Then Sandy and Francis arrived. Linda stopped to talk but didn’t sit and stay. With the rain we didn’t expect Sue to come on her Hoverround. And Tom wouldn’t come without her. The two of them did go for lunch at the Grimes senior center.
