2019 April 01 Monday in Georgetown and Liberty Hill, Texas

37° and mostly cloudy in the morning which is only 5° warmer than at our summer home in Grimes, Iowa. Is the weather playing an April Fools joke on us?

It was games and lunch at the Georgetown senior center

Then we stopped at our orthopedic surgeons to make the final payment for Ella’s shoulder and to make an appointment for me to get steroid injections in my knees.

Then, believe it our not, we had to return to Wal-Mart … AGAIN. Seriously, we had a good reason. Ella had another prescription at the pharmacy PLUS we were purchasing some items for a new ministry at Cross Tracks Church. From time to time homeless people or families come seeking food. Most of the time we refer then to Operation Liberty Hill, which the church supports. However, there are times when OLH is closed and the people are in need now. Our various Sunday school classes are purchasing items for the pastor to hand out to folks in need.

G’night and God bless.
