2019 May 29 Wednesday in Cutty’s, Grimes, Iowa
Foggy 56° and, as hard as it is to believe, we had more rain over night.
And looked like more was on the way. But it never made it.
I made some American fries to go with our bacon and eggs this morning.
As we were going to Cutty’s cafe for morning coffee, we spottedthis guy in the lake.
After lunch and games at the Grimes seniors center, we stopped at the office to mail some things and get our mail.
Then we went across the street to Dollar General for hearing aid batteries, greeting cards, and freezer bags.
Then we meet up with 5 friends at Village Inn for Pie Rush Wednesday
Wednesday evening there is a weekly scheduled Train Dominos game at the Adult Center. Last week it was just Ella and Linda. This week it was Due, Ella, and I. We played 5 rounds with no one keeping score. Then we stopped and went to the cafe for ice cream.
