2019 June 02 Sunday in Cutty’s, Grimes, Iowa

Sunday morning worship at Cutty’s. A non denominational, or perhaps more correctly a multi denominational, worship time in the Cutty’s adult center.

Tom Stone (Stoney) lead the service and brought the message.

Rudolf the red nosed pickup was thirsty so we visited the new Casey’s General Store and gas station that opened this week. This Google Earth map is outdated. There is a new interchange and road that aren’t shown. However, you get the idea of how close it is to the campground. At any rate Casey’s real claim to fame isn’t their gasoline, it’s their pizza. As they say, “We are a pizza chain that happens to sell gasoline.” So while we were there, I got a couple of pizzas for lunch (now and in the future).

On the way back into the campground, we stopped at the gate to inform them that we were having a guest. No nonmember is allowed in unless authorized by a member.

About 45 minutes later Cindy arrived. We sat on the patio and talked for a while. My leg began to cramp which meant I needed to move around for a bit.

I spent time moving the hanging plants hooks. All of the rain lately has softened the ground to the point that the weight of the plants caused the hangers to tilt. By moving them, I hope that it will stand straight again.

I also did thesame for our decorative fence/screen.
