2019 June 12 Wednesday in Cutty’s, Grimes, and Johnston, Iowa
47° and mostly cloudy with a light rain overnight. Just enough to dampen the rain gauge. Got up to 73°.
Liver and onion day at the senior center. Since I’m allergic to onions, I stopped for lunch at Burger King, 2 Whopper juniors and 2 small fries for $3.99 + tax.
Along with the Liver and onion day, it was also bingo day.
Wednesday is also Pie Rush Wednesday at Village Inn. There were 13 of us that came together for pie.
At 7 pm every Wednesday some of us gather at Cutty’s adult center for train Dominos. Ella went to play while I stayed home and worked on a sermon for the 23rd. By the time I’m writing this at 12:15am Thursday, I’m 99% done with the sermon and bulletin.
