2019 June 20 Thursday in Cutty’s, Grimes, Iowa
54° and foggy
The sun burnt a hole through the early morning fog.
This rain looks cleaner titan the last rain in the gauge.
Some of the flowers that are around the fee booth. One gal manages all of the flowers and shrubs on this 11+ acre resort. She does a remarkable job.
I worked from 8 – 2:30 today. And then we went into Des Moines to get the bulletins for Sunday the 30th’s worship service.
These flowers are from a small bed at Union Park UMC.
I’m wearing a small heart monitor for the next week. A couple years ago I had a new kind of heart procedure preformed.
They are now doing follow up research on those who underwent the surgery. I feel great. (Well, I don’t feel great, but that it’s just the arthritis talking.) I’ve only good things to say about the procedure.
Before, I couldn’t do even the simplest of exertion without being completely out of breath. Afterward I’ve not had that problem. Plus my risk of stroke is greatly reduced.
God bless and g’nite
