2019 September 14 Saturday in Cutty’s, Grimes, Iowa

59° overnight and 63 by daybreak under a clear sky.

Last night before bedtime, Ella mixed up some bread pudding. This morning after breakfast, she baked it.

I started a crockpot of chili this morning also. We were preparing for the potluck.

We went for coffee with friends at Cutty’s Cafe. We weren’t able to stay long because we needed to go to the store for bowls for the potluck.

While at Wal-Mart, Ella purchased some vitamins and supplements. I purchased some firewood to be used at the United Methodist Men’s Hobo supper on the 26th.

I took time to cover the outdoor fireplace this morning … and fell doing it. I tripped over one of the awning tie-down straps and landed on my and landed on my left side. I I wasn’t really hurt but I did twist I wasn’t really hurt but I did twist my I wasn’t really hurt but I did twist my back I wasn’t really hurt but I did twist my back I wasn’t really hurt but I did twist my back I wasn’t really hurt but I did twist my back a little I wasn’t really hurt but I did twist my back a little bit I wasn’t really hurt but I did twist my back a little bit.

The unforcasted nonrain arrived right on nonschedule. The the rain arrived at noon just as we were starting the potluck.

The End of the Season potluck went on as scheduled in spite of the rain.

I Worked from 2 to 9. I was surprisingly busy. Quite a few people were coming out to camp and watch television. The annual Iowa State vs Iowa football was today. There is nothing like the in-state rivalry to to bring out the tailgaters and the outdoor televisions. They also had a large projected screen on Main Street.

God bless and g’nite
