2019 September 15 Sunday in Cutty’s, Grimes, Iowa
Looks like am interesting week after ashes ahead, weatherwise.
65° overnight and 72 by daybreak under a clear sky. Even though the predicted high was 83 we reached 89.
This used to be a house until Saturday when it blew apart. No one home. No one hurt.
However, these homes and this church previously had windows and doors. My family members live in three houses just across the street from that church. Their things were shaken and rattled but no real damage. Our church is just a few blocks away from the blast but never suffered any damage.
Union Park UMC had an outdoor service and lunch today. The theme was a focus on creation.
I worked 1 to 7:25 today.
Ella got to spend time with soon some family of her first husband. They were celebrating a 40th anniversary.
God bless and g’nite
