he sun made it over the horizon before disappearing into a cloud bank.

Hey look, it didn’t drop into the freezing zone overnight.

ven though the graph indicates that I went back to sleep, I did not. I was awake at four, which makes sense because I normally wake at five and this was the night when daylight savings ended and the clocks were set back a hour. However, my internal “clock” didn’t reset.Pastor Saint’s sermon on Luke 19:1-10 was titled “”

group of us went to the Cotton Patch for lunch after church and Sunday school

received a “Like” on one of my posts from another WordPress blogger named Seolin Jung. Out of courtesy and curiosity I visited his blog and was delighted to find a short story titled “Canvas Without Stars”. His little story made me smile. One of the things that I really like about our site at Stocktank RV Park is the view of the night sky. I can no longer name stars and constellations other than Orion, the Big Dipper, and the North Star. However, I’m still amazed at their beauty and in awe that the God who created them also cares for me.

ere is a view of the shelves in the truck topper. I don’t think that I had mentioned the fact that I built the shelves with a rather steep angle toward the back of the shelf (front of the truck). My knees hurt from crawling around in the bed of the truck so I’m taking a break from stocking those shelves.

his black cylinder is a roll of padding that will line the bed of the truck and hopefully save my knees.

And so ends another day in paradise. God bless and g‘nite.

I have worked to finish the second shelf on the truck topper. I accomplished several things before the drill ran out of power. While it recharged, I rested. I did finish the shelves and started putting things on them. And once again I failed to take a photo.
I grilled a couple of huge t-bone steaks for lunch. There was room for the baked potato on the plate. The peas, however, had to wait until we had eaten enough steak and potato to make room for them.At 2:30 the outside temperature wss 71° and the inside was 78° even with the door open. Moo heat, just passive solar.
God bless and g’nite.

s the frost on this bush melted, it left behind small water drops that bejeweled the shrubbery.
s the sunlight swept across the frosted ground, the first hint of winter melted away.
ur A/C is once again working. The repairman arrived just as I finished installing the first shelf in the truck topper. If I weren’t so tired, I go out and take a photo of my handy work. I wss unable to complete the second shelf because I needed to get ready for my doctor’s appointment..
octor Crimmons gave me a clean bill of health. However, after the holidays, he wants Mrs to schedule a stress test.
e tried the new Star buffet in Cedar Park. My favorite was the battered butterfly shrimp. Ella’s wss the coconut shrimp. The BBQ ribs were to sweet for my liking. But if you like sweet BBQ, there ya go. The hot and spicy soup was also very good. It is so full of good stuff that you can eat it with a fork, which I did ’cause I forgot to get a spoon. If course we couldn’t sample everything, so we willi have to go back.
God bless and g’nite.
